Dana Lynch, CVT, CCRA
President & Founder
Starting an animal rescue has been a dream of Dana’s since childhood. With the support of family and friends, she started S.A.F.E. House in 2020 after years of hard work and dedication. Dana is a Certified Veterinary Technician and Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistant in NJ. She has used her skills and training in various capacities over the past decade, including small general practices, practices providing canine physical rehabilitation, and more recently at an emergency medicine and specialty clinic.

Katie Gibson
Vice President
Katie’s passion for animals led her to the Vet Tech Institute in order to become a Certified Veterinary Technician and turn her passion for animals into a career. During her years of working in both emergency and general practice, she has had the opportunity to work with many different species of animals furthering her fascination for and admiration of the variety she encountered. With a thirst for knowledge and a hard-working attitude Katie has made it her mission to act as an advocate for animals of all species, not just cats and dogs.

We may all be animal-lovers but under that umbrella we all have our own passions and individual talents. Katie has an admiration for animals beyond the typical house hold pets we see daily; Dana has a background and education with physically disabled dogs and cats. With both of us bringing something different to the table we are excited to have put together one heck of a rescue team. With our combination of strengths, experience, and knowledge, we hope to reach the corners of the animal world that really need our help.
